Ludhiana: Drug Trafficking Hub Building Demolished by Authorities

Police officials carried out a demolition operation on a building located in the heart of Ludhiana that had been identified as a base for drug traffickers. The structure, which had been used for storing and distributing illegal narcotics, was brought down using controlled explosives under the supervision of the local police department.
The demolition took place in the early hours of the morning to minimize disruption to nearby residents. According to statements from the Ludhiana Police Commissioner, the building had been monitored for several months before the decision to demolish was taken.
The operation was part of a broader anti‑drug campaign in the region, aimed at dismantling illegal drug networks and removing infrastructure that facilitates trafficking. Police have announced that they will continue to investigate the individuals involved and seize any remaining contraband.
