A brief shower swept across Delhi, bringing cooler temperatures and a pleasant atmosphere, as captured in a recent video. The rain provided a welcome respite from the city's usual heat.
A short spell of rain moved over Delhi today, easing the high temperatures that have persisted in recent weeks. The downpour, though brief, lowered humidity levels and brought a noticeable drop in temperature, making outdoor activities more comfortable for residents.
Footage shared by local media shows streets glistening under the drizzle, with pedestrians seen enjoying the cooler air. Traffic slowed slightly as drivers navigated the wet roads, but no major disruptions were reported.
Meteorological officials noted that the rain is part of a larger weather pattern affecting northern India, bringing intermittent showers and a temporary break from the heatwave. They expect similar conditions to recur over the next few days.
Authorities reminded commuters to exercise caution on slippery surfaces and to stay updated with weather alerts. The pleasant spell is expected to last only a few hours before temperatures rise again later in the evening.
Overall, the brief rain provided a refreshing interlude for Delhi's residents, offering a momentary relief from the sweltering summer climate.
