Abheda Biological Park in Kota has intensified monitoring of tigress Mehak after a routine health check showed all vital parameters within normal range. Park officials said the stepped-up surveillance is meant to safeguard the animal’s health.
Veterinary staff at Abheda Biological Park conducted a comprehensive health assessment of Mehak, the resident tigress, earlier this week. The examination included blood tests, vital sign monitoring and a physical check-up, all of which returned normal results.
Following the satisfactory outcome, park authorities decided to increase the frequency of visual and technological monitoring of Mehak. They said the move is precautionary, aimed at detecting any subtle changes in behaviour or health at the earliest.
Mehak has been a focal point of the park’s breeding and conservation programme since her arrival. Officials reiterated their commitment to providing optimal care for the tigress while continuing to educate visitors about tiger preservation.
