Khasi Groups Demand Meghalaya CM Block KHADC Land Amendment Amid Consultation Concerns

Khasi bodies, including the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, have formally urged Meghalaya’s Chief Minister to block the proposed amendment to the Khadakdhara Agricultural Development Corporation (KHADC) land policy. The amendment would allow the corporation to acquire tribal land for development projects without the customary consultation process.
