KEA Extends UGNEET 2026 Round 1 Deadline; New Reporting Date Announced

The Karnataka Examination Authority has pushed back the deadline for the first round of UGNEET 2026 and set a new reporting date for admitted candidates.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has officially extended the deadline for the first round of the UGNEET 2026 counselling process. Candidates who were scheduled to submit their choices by the original deadline now have an additional week to finalize their preferences.
In a statement released on the KEA website, the authority announced that the new deadline will be 15 September 2025, giving students more time to review counselling results and make informed decisions.
KEA also revised the reporting date for admitted candidates. Those who secure a seat will now be required to report to the designated counselling centre on 1 October 2025, instead of the previously scheduled 15 September.
Students are advised to keep a close eye on the KEA portal for any further updates and to ensure that all required documents are ready for the new reporting date.
