Prominent leaders from Jammu and Kashmir have called on the central government to address the genuine grievances of Pandits displaced from the valley.
Kashmir political leaders convened on Monday to reiterate their demand that the government address the long‑standing grievances of Pandits displaced from the valley after the 1990s insurgency.
The representatives highlighted that, despite various schemes announced over the years, many families continue to lack adequate housing, livelihood opportunities and access to basic services.
They urged the central authorities to formulate a comprehensive rehabilitation package covering land allocation, financial assistance, educational support and timely implementation.
