The State Election Commission of Karnataka has prepared 43.81 lakh supplementary electoral roll notices, of which 7.31 lakh have been handed over to voters so far.

The Karnataka State Election Commission (SEC) has announced that a total of 43.81 lakh notices for the Supplementary Electoral Roll (SIR) have been generated across the state. The notices are intended to inform eligible voters about updates to their registration ahead of the upcoming elections.
Out of the total, 7.31 lakh notices have already been delivered to voters, according to the commission’s latest figures. The delivery is being carried out through local electoral offices and designated distribution points.
The SEC has urged the remaining voters to collect their notices promptly and complete any required verification steps to ensure their names are correctly reflected in the final electoral roll.
The notice drive forms part of the broader effort to refresh the voter list before the state’s scheduled polls, aiming for a more accurate and inclusive electoral roll.
Authorities will continue to monitor the distribution process and provide updates as additional notices are dispatched.
