Karnataka Reservoirs Hit Second-Lowest Water Levels in Six Years

Mangalore Today reported that Karnataka’s major reservoirs have recorded the second-lowest water storage levels in six years. The latest assessment shows that the combined storage across the state’s key reservoirs is at its lowest level since 2017. This decline in water levels raises concerns for irrigation, drinking water supply, and hydroelectric generation across the region.
