State minister MB Patil affirmed that Karnataka continues to draw investor interest even as Bengaluru grapples with severe traffic congestion.

Karnataka's appeal to domestic and foreign investors remains strong, according to state minister MB Patil, who highlighted the region's robust industrial base and policy incentives. He noted that the state's growth trajectory, driven by sectors such as information technology, manufacturing, and biotechnology, continues to attract capital despite infrastructural challenges.

Bengaluru, the state's capital and a major tech hub, is currently facing acute traffic congestion that has drawn criticism from commuters and businesses alike. The gridlock, caused by rapid urbanisation and limited road capacity, has raised concerns about logistics efficiency and employee productivity.

Patil reassured investors that the government is actively addressing the traffic issue through ongoing infrastructure projects, including metro expansion, ring roads, and smart traffic management systems. He emphasized that these measures, coupled with a business-friendly regulatory environment, ensure that Karnataka remains a viable destination for long‑term investment.

Looking ahead, the minister expressed confidence that the state's proactive approach to urban planning and its continued focus on skill development will sustain investor confidence and support economic growth.
