ABB has entered a multi-year Motion OneCare agreement with ACC Limited to boost reliability and efficiency at the Jamul cement plant in Chhattisgarh.
Bengaluru‑based ABB announced a multi‑year ABB Motion OneCare service contract with ACC Limited, a key cement unit of the Adani Group. The agreement targets the Jamul cement plant in Chhattisgarh, aiming to enhance operational reliability through a structured maintenance regime.
The service framework includes scheduled reconditioning of ageing drives, real‑time digital monitoring, and comprehensive energy appraisals. By integrating these elements, ABB intends to shift the focus from mere restoration to continuous performance optimisation.
Both companies said the collaboration will help ACC minimise unplanned downtime, improve energy efficiency and extend the service life of critical equipment, supporting the plant’s production targets without interruption.
The partnership reflects ABB’s broader strategy to provide end‑to‑end solutions for heavy‑industry customers in India, leveraging its expertise in drive technology and digital analytics.
