Jammu: J&K Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Darbar Move, says, "There is nothing new about the Darbar Move. There is no doubt that the Darbar Move was discontinued for some time, but it resumed last year. For six months, we served the people of the entire Jammu and Kashmir, and we will do the same here. There is nothing new about the Darbar Move; it has been going on for years, except for a brief pause of a few years. After that, the government took a considered decision to revive the Darbar Move. It is a good thing. We have to respect the wishes of the people of the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Our brothers in Jammu wanted the Darbar Move to be revived, and therefore it should be revived."
