Jaishankar condemns Pakistan PM Sharif for normalising terrorism at UNGA

At the United Nations General Assembly, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar accused Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of trying to normalise terrorism and claim immunity from its fallout.
During a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar took aim at Pakistan’s prime minister, alleging that the leader was attempting to normalise terrorism.
Jaishankar said the Pakistani premier had invoked arguments that would allow terror activities to be treated as ordinary political issues and that such a stance sought immunity from any consequences.
He added that the prime minister was misrepresenting facts to create a false narrative about cross‑border security.
