IVY Entertainment inaugurated the first-ever Bhojpuri Music Awards 2026 in Patna, marking the city’s emergence as a cultural hub for regional music.
Patna hosted the maiden edition of the Bhojpuri Music Awards 2026, an initiative launched by IVY Entertainment to honour excellence in Bhojpuri music across playback singing, composition and lyricism. The ceremony, held in the capital of Bihar, brought together industry stakeholders, artists and media representatives to celebrate the genre’s growing popularity.
The event underscores Patna’s rising status as a focal point for regional entertainment, signalling a shift of cultural activities from traditional metros to emerging urban centres in eastern India. Organisers highlighted the city’s vibrant music scene and its potential to nurture new talent.
Industry observers expect the awards to create a platform for upcoming Bhojpuri artists, encourage higher production standards and attract investment in music production infrastructure within the state. The inaugural edition also aims to set benchmarks for future recognitions in the genre.
