Indore’s first industrial training institute (ITI) hostel has deteriorated into a near‑ruin, according to a ground report. The building’s roof is sagging, plaster is flaking off the walls and water seepage has created conditions where live wires pose an electric shock risk.
Students living in the hostel, roughly sixty in number, face daily challenges such as broken bathroom fixtures and missing tap‑counters, which hamper basic hygiene. The lack of functional amenities has raised concerns among parents and local authorities about the safety and continuity of the students’ education.
