The 26.6‑km greenfield four‑lane stretch from MR‑10 junction in Indore to Namawar Road in Raghogarh is in its final phase, featuring 19 underpasses and a 26‑km service road.
Construction of a 26.6‑kilometre greenfield four‑lane corridor linking Indore’s MR‑10 junction with Namawar Road in Raghogarh has entered its concluding stage. The project, aimed at easing traffic congestion on existing routes, will provide a high‑speed alternative for commuters and freight traffic between the two towns.
The alignment incorporates 19 grade‑separated underpasses to ensure uninterrupted flow across intersecting roads and rail lines, along with a parallel 26‑kilometre service road that will serve local traffic and reduce pressure on the main carriageway. These features are expected to cut travel time significantly and improve safety.
Work on the final sections, including the underpasses and service road, is progressing rapidly, with authorities indicating that the entire stretch is slated for opening later this year, subject to standard safety clearances.
