Indore, Aug 20 — A private sleeper air‑conditioned bus en route to Delhi experienced a sudden tire failure roughly 70 kilometres before reaching Gwalior. The incident occurred while the vehicle was carrying 28 passengers from Indore, among them several women and children.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver initially tried to continue the journey despite the blowout, prompting loud objections from the passengers. The collective protest forced the driver to bring the bus to a stop.
Local authorities were alerted and arrived at the scene to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the stranded travelers. No injuries were reported, and arrangements were made for alternative transport to continue the journey toward Delhi.
