Morning temperatures in Indore fell to 13.4°C, marking the coldest reading in a decade.
Indore recorded a sharp drop in temperature early this morning, with the mercury touching 13.4°C. Meteorological data indicates this is the lowest temperature the city has experienced in the past ten years, setting a new record for the month of October.
The day remained relatively warm, but the sudden chill during the night has caught residents off guard. Local weather stations noted a rapid swing from daytime warmth to nighttime cold, a pattern that is unusual for this time of year.
Authorities have advised citizens to dress warmly and take precautions against the unexpected cold snap, especially vulnerable groups such as the elderly and school‑going children.
