Authorities in Indore have demolished over 40 shops that encroached upon land for the Dewas Naka bridge service road. The structures had been illegally built for two decades.

In Indore, a significant demolition drive was conducted on Monday to clear the path for the Dewas Naka bridge's service road. The Indore Development Authority, in collaboration with district administration, razed more than 40 shops that were illegally occupying the land.

These shops had been constructed after encroaching on the land approximately twenty years ago. The action was taken to facilitate the crucial infrastructure development project, ensuring the smooth construction of the service road.

The joint operation by administrative and development authority officials ensured the removal of long-standing encroachments, paving the way for the much-needed road expansion.
