Indian Overseas Congress USA disappointed as Telangana CM's US visit denied political clearance

The Indian Overseas Congress USA, a diaspora organisation that represents Indian interests in the United States, said it was "disappointed" after the central government denied political clearance for the Telangana chief minister’s intended trip to the US.
The clearance, mandatory for any sitting chief minister’s foreign travel, was reportedly withheld without public explanation, halting scheduled meetings with Indian‑American business groups and community leaders.
The diaspora body warned that the denial could hamper outreach between Telangana’s administration and the sizable Telugu diaspora in the United States, and urged the government to reconsider the decision.
