India will meet Japan in the Asian Hockey Champions final on 5 November after beating South Korea in the semi‑final.
India's men's hockey team secured a place in the Asian Hockey Champions final after a decisive victory over South Korea in the semi‑final. The win sets up a title clash with Japan, which earned its spot by defeating Malaysia in a penalty shoot‑out, 5-3, in the other semi‑final.
The final is scheduled for 5 November, and both teams will be looking to claim the championship title. India's performance in the tournament has been strong, with the side showing solid defence and effective attacking play throughout the knockout stages.
Fans across the country are expected to turn out in large numbers to support the team, and the match will be broadcast live on national sports channels. The outcome will determine which nation lifts the Asian Hockey Champions trophy this year.
