India Rejects Pakistan's PoJK Assembly Elections, Calls Them a Cover for Illegal Occupation

India has formally rejected the announcement of assembly elections in the disputed PoJK region by Pakistan, stating that the move is an attempt to disguise an illegal occupation. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement condemning the elections as a political ploy to legitimize control over the area.
