The recently concluded India‑New Zealand free‑trade agreement includes provisions that will broaden higher‑education seats and post‑study work visas for Indian students.
The India‑New Zealand free‑trade agreement, signed earlier this year, contains a dedicated education chapter aimed at deepening academic ties between the two countries.
Under the pact, New Zealand will increase the number of university and vocational training places allocated to Indian nationals and will streamline the recognition of Indian qualifications for entry into its institutions.
