The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of isolated heavy rainfall in Haryana and Punjab, expected to continue through 17 September.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted isolated heavy rainfall across parts of Haryana and Punjab, with the threat persisting until 17 September. The forecast indicates that the heaviest showers will occur in the northern districts of Haryana and the western regions of Punjab, with rainfall amounts ranging between 30 to 60 millimetres in some pockets. Residents in affected areas are advised to stay alert, secure loose outdoor items, and avoid traveling on roads prone to flooding. The heavy rains could disrupt agricultural activities, delay transport schedules, and pose risks to local infrastructure, especially in low-lying zones.
