IIT Delhi will extend its academic and research expertise to support infrastructure and socio‑economic development in Keyi Panyor district of Arunachal Pradesh, as part of the state’s Mission Plan 2040.

IIT Delhi has agreed to collaborate with the Arunachal Pradesh government to assist the development of Keyi Panyor district. The partnership is framed under the state’s Mission Plan 2040, which aims for long‑term sustainable growth in the region.

Under this arrangement, the institute will make available its technical knowledge, research capabilities and faculty support to help design and implement development initiatives. The focus will be on leveraging IIT Delhi’s strengths in areas such as engineering, technology and capacity building.

Officials said the initiative seeks to improve living standards and create opportunities for the local population by integrating academic input with ground‑level planning. The collaboration underscores the role of premier educational institutions in regional development efforts.
