Union Minister Pralhad Joshi shared that the facility represents a pioneering initiative for South India, being the first of its kind to commence operations within the state.
The project is projected to generate employment opportunities for over 200 individuals. The National Thermal Power Corporation (NVVN) subsidiary, which is overseeing the plant, will allocate approximately ₹11 crore annually towards its maintenance, ensuring its long-term functionality and efficiency.
