HPU to Launch AI and Emerging Tech Courses, Announces CM Sukhu

The Himachal Pradesh government has announced that Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) will add new courses in artificial intelligence and related emerging technologies. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu revealed the plan during a press briefing in Shimla. The university aims to align its curriculum with global tech trends and provide students with industry‑relevant skills. HPU will collaborate with local IT firms and research institutes to design the programs and secure faculty expertise.
