Himesh Reshammiya and Akasa Singh team up for ‘Dard‑E‑Dil Dard‑E‑Jigar’, releasing Oct 30

Gunmaaster G9, a music production outfit, has confirmed that its upcoming single titled “Dard‑E‑Dil Dard‑E‑Jigar” will be made available to the public on 30 October. The track brings together composer‑singer Himesh Reshammiya and vocalist Akasa Singh, who previously collaborated on successful songs.

The announcement, circulated by Bollywood Hungama, highlights that the duo’s reunion is expected to generate considerable interest among fans of contemporary Bollywood music. Both artists are known for their distinct vocal styles—Reshammiya’s signature melodic phrasing and Akasa’s energetic delivery.

While details about the song’s lyricist, music video, and promotional plan have not been disclosed, the release date suggests a strategic launch ahead of the festive season, a period traditionally favorable for new music releases in India.

Industry observers note that collaborations between established composers and emerging singers often boost streaming numbers, and the pairing of Reshammiya with Akasa could attract a wide demographic across digital platforms.

Listeners can anticipate the track on major streaming services and possibly on television music channels once it goes live on the scheduled date.
