Himachal Pradesh launches recruitment drive for 228 Medical Officers

The Himachal Pradesh government has opened applications for 228 medical officer positions across the state.
The health department of Himachal Pradesh announced a fresh recruitment drive to fill 228 vacant posts of Medical Officers in government health facilities. The notification, issued on the official portal, outlines the eligibility criteria and the documents required for application.
Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree and be registered with the appropriate medical council. Applications will be submitted online through the state health department’s website, where aspirants can also download the detailed advertisement and guidelines.
The recruitment aims to strengthen the staffing of district hospitals, community health centers and primary health units, thereby improving the delivery of medical services in the hilly state. Selection will be based on a written examination followed by an interview, as per standard government procedures.
