The Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority has extended deadlines for ongoing projects by four months, citing disruptions caused by the West Asia crisis. Developers have welcomed the decision.

The Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) announced a four‑month extension for all pending real‑estate projects in the state.

The decision was taken to mitigate the impact of the West Asia crisis, which has disrupted supply chains and financing for developers.

Under the new guidelines, project timelines will be pushed back by 120 days, allowing contractors to complete works without penalty.

Developers across Haryana have welcomed the extension, citing the need for additional time to secure materials and manage cash flow.

RERA officials said the move will help prevent a slowdown in the state’s housing market.
