Gwalior: Boyfriend Arrested for Murder After Refusing to Marry Girlfriend of Two Years

Gwalior police have taken into custody a man identified as Ishaan, who is alleged to have murdered his girlfriend after she declined his proposal for marriage. The couple had been in a relationship for two years before the incident. According to the investigation, Ishaan forced the woman into a car and subsequently strangled her with a dupatta.

Initial questioning revealed that the vehicle used in the crime was taken by Ishaan. Police first detained a person named Arbaaz, and after further interrogation, arrested Ishaan on Monday night. Investigators say the primary motive uncovered so far is the victim's refusal to marry.

Authorities have not disclosed additional details pending further inquiry, but the case is being treated as a homicide with a clear motive linked to the marriage dispute.
