A grandmother attended a Garba event in Madhya Pradesh, paying a modest ₹200 for her participation. The expense covered her entry and basic refreshments at the traditional dance gathering.
One year after that evening, her grandson was announced as the recipient of a Fortuner valued at ₹50 lakh. The vehicle, a long‑standing aspiration for the family, was awarded through a prize draw that concluded in the same region.
The juxtaposition of a small cultural spend and a high‑value prize has drawn attention on social platforms, illustrating how a simple celebration can be linked to a life‑changing moment for a household.
