Ganesh immersions across Telangana remain peaceful, to finish by Saturday, says DGP

Police chief CV Anand confirmed that Ganesh immersion process in Telangana is proceeding without incidents and will be completed by Saturday.
The Directorate of Police in Telangana reported that the immersion of Ganesh idols across the state has been orderly and free of disturbances. DGP C.V. Anand said that law‑enforcement teams have been deployed at major immersion sites to ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow.
Authorities have coordinated with municipal bodies to manage crowd control, waste disposal and water quality during the rituals. So far, no major complaints or incidents have been recorded, and devotees are following the guidelines issued by the police.
Anand added that the immersion schedule will be wrapped up by Saturday, after which the city administration will begin cleaning and restoration work along riverbanks and public spaces. The police continue to monitor the situation and are prepared to intervene if any untoward event occurs.
