A wall of a dilapidated house collapsed on demolition workers in Savner, Madhya Pradesh, killing four women and seriously injuring two others.
Savner, a densely populated suburb of Indore, witnessed a tragic accident on Wednesday when a crumbling wall of an old building gave way during demolition work. The wall fell onto a group of female laborers who were dismantling the structure, trapping several of them under the rubble.
Emergency services arrived promptly, but four of the women succumbed to their injuries on site. Two other workers were rescued but remain in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
