Sukha Aujla, a prominent farmer in the region, expressed deep worry over the situation. "The fields have become like small seas," he said, highlighting the urgency for timely action to prevent widespread damage.
In response, district authorities have dispatched water management teams to assess the extent of the flooding and to coordinate with the Punjab irrigation department for possible drainage measures.
