Film crews have been spotted filming across Norfolk, from the North Norfolk coast to the historic town of Norwich and the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, boosting local tourism.
Film crews have been spotted filming across Norfolk in recent weeks, turning the county’s scenic spots into temporary sets. The North Norfolk coast, with its rugged cliffs and sandy beaches, has been a favourite backdrop for the productions.
The historic town of Norwich and the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth also feature prominently, offering a mix of cobbled streets, medieval architecture and lively beachside atmosphere. Local residents have noted the increased activity and the presence of cameras and crew vans.
Local authorities have issued statements confirming that the filming is authorised and that the productions are working closely with the council to minimise disruption. The projects are expected to bring a boost to the local economy, with increased patronage of hotels, restaurants and shops.
While the exact titles of the films or series remain undisclosed, industry insiders suggest that the productions are part of a growing trend of British dramas and period pieces seeking authentic rural settings. The presence of film crews is also likely to attract tourism interest, as fans of the upcoming releases look to visit the locations featured on screen.
