Viral posts claimed that officer Tukaram Mundhe has been moved to Rajasthan; the FDA chief responded, saying no official order has been issued.

Social media platforms were abuzz with posts suggesting that senior officer Tukaram Mundhe had been transferred to the state of Rajasthan. The posts, shared widely on Twitter and Facebook, presented the alleged transfer as a confirmed development.

In response, the chief of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a statement addressing the speculation. The FDA chief clarified that the agency had not received any formal notification regarding such a transfer and that no official order had been released.

The chief added that any posting or relocation of a senior officer would be communicated through the appropriate government channels, and urged the public to rely on verified sources.

As of now, no further comment has been made by the concerned departments, and the rumor remains unsubstantiated.
