Eklaavya Residential School students protest at midnight, walk to Semalwala tehsil office

Students of the Eklaavya Residential School in Semalwara, Rajasthan, marched on foot to the tehsil office after midnight to protest alleged hostel mismanagement and staff abuse.
On Friday night, a group of students from the Eklaavya Residential School in Semalwara, Rajasthan, left their hostel and walked to the local tehsil office after midnight. The students gathered outside the office, demanding immediate action on issues they said had plagued their living conditions.
According to the protesters, the hostel suffers from inadequate facilities, poor sanitation and alleged mistreatment by some staff members. They claimed that repeated complaints to school authorities had been ignored, prompting the midnight march as a last resort.
Local police were alerted to the gathering and arrived at the tehsil office to maintain order. Tehsil officials received the students, listened to their grievances and assured them that the matter would be investigated promptly. No violence or arrests were reported during the demonstration.
