The annual Dol Gyaraas procession is set to pass through Bhopal’s old city on Thursday, prompting authorities to implement a six‑stage traffic diversion starting at 1 pm. The diversion plan, announced by local police, aims to keep the route clear for the ceremonial march while ensuring safety for pedestrians and vehicles.
Roads along the traditional parade path will be sequentially closed in six sections as the procession advances. Each phase will last approximately 15‑20 minutes before the next segment is sealed, allowing traffic to be rerouted onto pre‑designated alternate streets.
