Protesting Delhi Police officers have raised five key demands, focusing on Standard Operating Procedures and enhanced courtroom security.
Delhi Police officers recently staged a protest to voice their grievances regarding operational protocols and safety concerns. The demonstration highlights growing tensions within the force over administrative and security issues.
The protesting cops presented a list of five specific demands to the authorities. Among the most critical issues raised were the need for clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide officers in the field and the necessity of strengthening security measures in courtrooms.
The focus on courtroom security reflects concerns about the safety of police personnel while performing their duties in judicial settings. The officers seek concrete assurances and structural improvements to address these vulnerabilities.
The protest underscores the broader challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in balancing operational efficiency with officer welfare. The administration is now expected to review these demands and provide a response to the aggrieved personnel.
