Delhi Extends Voter Registration Deadline After Supreme Court Prompt; Maharashtra and 4 States Reopen Forms

Delhi has extended the deadline for submitting voter registration forms after a directive from the Supreme Court. The new cut‑off date gives voters an additional week to complete the process. In addition, the registration portal has been reopened for Maharashtra and four other states, allowing residents in those regions to file their forms again. Election officials say the move will help ensure more citizens are registered in time for upcoming polls.
