The Election Commission of Delhi will set up special camps on 20 and 27 September, 10 am‑5 pm, to re‑enter eligible voters omitted from the electoral roll.
The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer announced that special intensive revision (SIR) camps will be organised across all polling stations in the capital on 20 and 27 September. The camps will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and aim to identify eligible voters who were inadvertently left out of the electoral roll during the last revision. Voters who believe they have been omitted are invited to visit the nearest polling station during the designated hours to have their details verified and added to the list. The initiative is part of the Election Commission’s effort to ensure that every eligible citizen can exercise their franchise in upcoming elections. Officials said the process will be streamlined and that no additional documentation beyond standard identity proof will be required.
