Congress Workers Protest Election Commission at Shahid Smarak in Dotsara

Earlier today, Congress party workers assembled at the Shahid Smarak in Dotsara, raising their voices against the Election Commission. The demonstrators formed a procession around the memorial and repeatedly shouted slogans calling for accountability and transparency in the upcoming electoral process.

The protestors accused the Election Commission of alleged partiality and demanded a review of recent decisions that they claim disadvantage the party. They carried placards bearing messages such as “Fair elections now” and “Commission answer to the people”.

Local police maintained a presence at the site to ensure the demonstration remained peaceful. No clashes were reported, and the gathering was dispersed after a few hours without any arrests.

The Election Commission has not released an official comment on the protest as of the time of reporting.
