Congress media department head Mukesh Nayak criticised the Madhya Pradesh government, saying the state's education system has become a pass‑fail factory.
Indore, Sept 15 (ANI) – Mukesh Nayak, the head of the Congress party’s media department in Madhya Pradesh, warned that the state is suffering from a chronic shortage of quality education. Speaking at a press briefing in Indore, he described the current system as an "old‑fashioned" structure that has turned schools and colleges into factories churning out pass and fail marks.
Nayak’s comments came as part of a broader Congress critique of the state government’s handling of both education and health sectors. He argued that the lack of modern teaching methods and infrastructure has left students ill‑prepared for competitive exams and the job market.
The party leader urged the administration to revamp curricula, improve teacher training, and invest in school facilities to raise standards. He emphasized that without such reforms, Madhya Pradesh risks falling further behind other Indian states in human capital development.
No immediate response from the state government was recorded at the time of reporting.
