CM Yogi Adityanath says Uttar Pradesh has shifted from curfews to development

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told reporters that Uttar Pradesh has left behind the era marked by frequent curfews and communal disturbances. He highlighted that the government's priority now is to accelerate infrastructure projects, improve public services and attract investment across the state.

The leader noted that recent years have seen a decline in law‑and‑order challenges that previously required emergency measures. According to him, this improvement has created a more conducive environment for economic growth and social welfare schemes.

Adityanath emphasized that the administration will continue to focus on education, health and rural development to ensure that the benefits of progress reach all sections of society. He urged citizens to cooperate with the government’s development agenda.

While acknowledging past difficulties, the chief minister expressed confidence that Uttar Pradesh is on a sustainable growth trajectory, positioning the state as a key contributor to India's overall development.
