West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari praised the recent Kolkata Tarpan event, noting that it concluded without any incidents.

Kolkata hosted a large‑scale Tarpan ceremony, a traditional water‑offering ritual observed by thousands of participants across the city. The event was organized by local authorities in coordination with community groups to mark a religious occasion.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari addressed the gathering, commending the flawless execution of the ceremony. He highlighted that the entire program proceeded without any accidents or disruptions, reflecting the effectiveness of the security and logistical arrangements.

State officials confirmed that police, fire services and medical teams were on standby throughout the event, ensuring rapid response capability. Their coordinated effort, the CM said, helped maintain a safe environment for the crowds.

The incident‑free outcome is being presented as a model for future mass gatherings in West Bengal, underscoring the administration’s focus on public safety during large‑scale cultural events.
