Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary broke the usual protocol by personally briefing the press on 24 proposals approved in the recent Bihar cabinet meeting.
Patna, Oct 12 (ANI) – In an unusual departure from the norm, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary addressed the media immediately after the cabinet meeting, outlining the key decisions taken. Traditionally, a senior IAS officer conveys the outcomes, but the CM chose to speak directly, emphasizing the importance of the proposals.
The cabinet approved a total of 24 proposals covering sectors such as agriculture, health, education and infrastructure. While the detailed list was not released in full, officials indicated that several measures aim to boost farmer income, improve rural health facilities and accelerate road construction in underserved districts.
Political analysts noted that the chief minister’s direct communication could be an effort to project transparency and strengthen his administration’s image ahead of upcoming local elections. The government has pledged to release a comprehensive press note in the coming days.
The meeting, held at the Bihar Secretariat, was attended by all senior ministers and department heads. No opposition leaders were present, and the opposition has yet to comment on the announced proposals.
The CM concluded by urging the public and stakeholders to cooperate in the implementation of the new schemes, assuring that the state will monitor progress closely.
