The textile firm reported a 41% reduction in its first‑quarter FY26 net loss, bringing the deficit down to ₹1.21 crore.

Cineline India Ltd., a player in the Indian textile sector, announced that its net loss for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 narrowed by 41% to ₹1.21 crore. The improvement reflects a significant turnaround from the same quarter a year earlier, when the company recorded a loss of roughly ₹2.05 crore.

The reduction in loss was driven by tighter cost controls and a modest recovery in sales volumes, according to the company’s financial filing. While revenue growth remained modest, the lower operating expenses helped narrow the deficit.

Analysts view the narrowing loss as a positive signal, but caution that sustained profitability will depend on the firm’s ability to boost top‑line growth in the coming quarters.
