Chhattisgarh Mining Villages Left Out

The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has revealed that 44% of mining-hit villages in Chhattisgarh have been left out despite a substantial amount of ₹4,536cr being spent from the District Mineral Foundation (DMF). This significant expenditure was meant to support and develop areas affected by mining activities. However, it appears that a considerable number of villages have not benefited from these funds. The CAG's findings underscore the need for more effective implementation and distribution of resources to ensure that all affected communities receive the support they need.
