Chhattisgarh Declares Naxalism-Free, Enters Era of Peace and Development

The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh declared that the state has now become free of Naxal insurgency. He said the security forces have successfully neutralised all major Naxal strongholds, paving the way for a stable environment. The announcement comes after years of concerted efforts by the state and central governments to curb the insurgency. The CM added that the state will now focus on accelerating development projects, improving infrastructure and creating employment opportunities to sustain long‑term prosperity.
