Canada’s New Permanent Residency Window Still Closed, Warns Punjab Leader KBS Sidhu

KBS Sidhu, a prominent political figure in Punjab, has cautioned families that the anticipated opening of Canada’s new permanent residency (PR) window remains pending. The statement came amid growing expectations among Punjabi diaspora communities for a streamlined immigration process. Sidhu emphasized that until the official announcement is made, any claims of a new PR window should be treated with skepticism. He urged families to verify information through official Canadian immigration channels and to be wary of agents offering expedited services at inflated fees.
